Whilst we hope to welcome you on the 10 th June, we understand life is busy and must go on, please do contribute to this guest book. We invite you to share your memories and thoughts below about Mary, our mum. Your messages of love and remembrance will be appreciated and welcome to reflect and honour on her life in the years to come without her.
The Mary I knew took joy and comfort from her family, especially Alia, Hardi and her grandsons, and the wider Darweish group. Alia and Hardi seemed to be on speed dial. She filled the airwaves with news of her various antics and advice about knitting, not forgetting the frequent queries to her personal doctor. Indeed with the number of hours that Alia spent explaining how bodies work, by the time Mary passed you could think there was some foundation to Mary’s infamous phrase “we have all been to medical school’. Conversational gems like that will be missed.
RIP Mary.
Although we only met on a few occasions, it is clear that in producing such a wonderful daughter as Alia you leave an especially fine legacy to enrich us all..
RIP, Mary
Mary, we were neighbours for approximately 15 years , not all of them good as neighbours do we sometimes had our disagreements, they were however soon forgotten about , I would hang your washing on the line for you as you handed it to me from the lounge window , we would chat through the lounge window , I would often get the odd phone call from you asking for me to help you after you hit the kerb in your car causing you to have a puncture, I think we probably had about three of these Mary, I would say to you did the kerb jump out on you ?as you became frail you needed my help a little more and I was always there to do what I could to help you, it’s strange not seeing you sat in the porch where you quite often sat for fresh air and to read your paper, you left us quite suddenly and unexpectedly, may you rest in peace and out of pain.sleep tight Mary .xxx
We are going to miss going to see you Mary. We are so glad we found you. Remembering the good times. God Bless RIP xx
Mary, you were a legend! You entered a room quietly, majestically but your presence was always felt. You shall be sorely missed at family gatherings and always remembered. May you rest in peace
May Mary find eternal peace.
Rest in Peace Mary. We only met you once, for the occasion of Alia & Nick’s wedding, when you were great company for the journey across to Bristol. The love you had for your children was abundantly clear then, hope they take comfort from that. Xxx
Missing you every day Mary. Hope you are resting well xxx
Mum, I miss you very much. I cannot believe you have gone. Thank you for the life you have given me. I will miss our (seemingly endless) phone calls, and FaceTime with your ceiling... Love you, Mum. I am glad you are finally at peace xx
Mum, the boys and I miss you deeply. Every day, the boys call up to heaven to say hello and look for you in the clouds. I love you and am so grateful for everything you've done for me. I miss you, but I find comfort knowing you are at peace now. xx
